Photography and tagline by Erica (2012) During my Berea College capstone Public Relations course, I interned for the NOSW for six months, and during this time I worked with the nonprofit to develop radio, print, and digital advertising and re-branding initiatives. After multiple drafts of their new tagline, mine was chosen to represent their mission of serving Appalachian women. In 2018, the tagline has been revamped to include slightly different language.

“Erica’s lettering and artworks are professional quality, with rich detail and vibrant colors. Because her cards and signs are handmade and custom-designed, each one is personal in a way so much in this world isn’t anymore. And, when she makes signs for Carnegie Center literary events, the featured authors often tell me they are wowed and honored by this beautiful, personal touch. It’s part of what makes our events different than similar ones out there.”
